We spent the first warm, sunny weekend of the year hunkered down in the studio demoing tracks for our next album. We got some great sounds out of that tiny room and the songs are really starting to take shape.

On Thursday, January 31st, Suitcase Sam and the Suits taped three songs at Toronto's HardRock Cafe as part of The Toronto Sessions. The performance will be airing in the near future on a date still to be determined.
Brent Randall and Mike Roy have been playing in the Suits for some time, but now felt like the right time to put a ring on it. If you haven't already had the chance come and check out the Suits, now performing in stereoscopic sound.
The soundtrack for the Sweetest Hippopotamus (featuring Can I Get a Bone, the Hippo Rag and the Sweetest Hippopotamus) picked up a best soundtrack award in the short film category at the 2012 ACTION ON FILM INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL.
